Immerse yourself in the intricacies of wine tasting techniques and aromatic evaluations with our brand new Production Sensory Class! In this class you will experience two different flights of wine, one white wine flight and one red wine flight, with twelve different wines.
The class, taught by our Vice President of Winery Operations and our first Assistant Winemaker and Vineyard Manager, will begin with an educational portion on tasting techniques and aromatic evaluations. You will receive an individual booklet containing the flavor wheel and tongue chart to assist in your evaluations.
The wines you will sample as part of your wine flights will be from New Kent Winery, as well as other local Virginia wines. They will include Vidal Blanc, Petit Manning, Pinot Grigio, Vermentino, Mertiage, Merlot, Syrah, and more!
