Joins us for a Blues & Vines interactive live music extravaganza to benefit the River City Blues Society!

This one-of-kind fundraiser and membership drive for the River City Blues Society will combine live blues performances with interactive activities, offering a unique experience that supports local and regional blues musicians while also educating the community about this distinct musical genre that gave birth to jazz, R&B, rock, punk, and country.

The afternoon will kick off with an opening performance by the Junior Wilson Band on New Kent Winery’s main stage. During that performance, attendees can participate in a group activity for learning 12-bar blues song lyric writing under the patio tent while sipping on award-winning wine and craft beer. An open jam session will follow, where attendees can join the band to perform blues, along with local musicians and participants from the songwriting activity. The afternoon finishes with a closing performance by the Junior Wilson Band!

A small $2 donation will be collected at the door to support the River City Blues Society, furthering the organization’s mission and ensuring the continued support of local blues musicians. Come on out for a great time for a great cause!
