For the second year, Virginia Wineries Association is presenting a Governor’s Cup Case and Best in Show cider tasting at four host wineries around the state.

The New Kent Winery is excited to host the Governor's Cup Case Wine Tasting Event on May 19, 2022 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m, along with wine writer Frank Morgan, with comments from competition coordinator Jay Youmans, Master of Wine and each Case winemaker. The evening will begin with a glass of the winning Virginia Cider followed by a taste of the twelve wines selected to be in the 2022 Governor's Cup Wine Case, using a souvenir logo Riedel glass.

New Kent Winery will offer heavy hors d'oeuvres in the form of an Antipasti Display, a Mediterranean Display and desserts. Our menu provides for several gluten free options including a flourless Chocolate Torte with Raspberry Drizzle.

Tickets are required to be purchased in advance and a limited number are available.
