Experience the joy of pairing expertly crafted foods with delicious wine. World renowned Chef Jennel Tiller will be joining us on Saturday and Sunday from 12-4pm. She will pair four canapés with New Kent Winery wines in our private Barrel Room for a high class tasting experience.
The pairings for the day will include:
Mushroom Empanda
stuffed with sautéed mushrooms and goat cheese, baked and topped with a chimichurri sauce
Spanakopita
topped with Greek tzatziki sauce
Smoked Salmon Bilini
with créme fraíche and dill
Bruschetta
tomatoes, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, and basil
The pairings will be served between noon and 4pm and last approximately 20 minutes. Upon arriving, you will be greeted and escorted to our barrel room for your pairings. Following the food and wine pairings, you are welcome stick around and enjoy a bottle of wine with us and relax in our tasting room or on the heated porches.
You can pre-purchase your pairings online for the weekend for $16. You are welcome to attend the pairings on either Saturday, the 2nd or Sunday the 3rd.
Please note that no outside food or beverages will be permitted this weekend.
