Join us for a Cooking Class with Chef Joe DeFazio as he shares with us gourmet Plantation style food that would have been found in Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown kitchens long ago. Joe DeFazio has been visiting Virginia Plantations for over 30 years.
This class will offer demonstration and discussion of plantation meals of both owners and laborers alike. Nearly all of the menu items were researched from Virginia and North Carolina Plantations.
When feasible, products are locally sourced. Join us for a lesson in history, cooking, and the preparation of Plantation style food specific to the Colonial Virginia and North Carolina regions.
